Budapest Erzsébetváros is one step closer to the realization of the demonstration of the Life in Runoff project planned at the Klauzál Square Fair Hall!
The planned intervention in Klauzal Square includes a rainwater harvester, which will not only affect public space but also the area of a condominium. This is why it was essential to involve the residents of the building in the project and obtain their approval. Stakeholders were involved in a stakeholder meeting.
On 21.02.2023, the project team held a briefing for the residents and the joint representation of the condominium building next to the market hall, which was attended by Erzsébetváros Piacüzemeltetési Kft. management and the mechanical designer, József Pál, of Greenvest-Forum Kft. Managing Director.
The questions raised during the informal discussion that followed the presentation of the plans were discussed and it is pleasing to say that the project has received the verbal support of the residents.
The opinion of the owners was taken into account in the implementation of the project.
The most important issue was the placement of rainwater collection tanks with a total capacity of 120 cubic metres, which is technically the most optimal way to install them under the courtyard of the condominium. Not only the mechanical engineer, but also a structural engineer and a utility engineer were involved in the design of the best technical solution and confirmed it. The Klauzál Market project element has received the expert opinion and the support in principle of the Metropolitan Sewerage Works, and the technical guidelines described therein will be kept in mind in the further planning phase.
