Led by the Hegyvidék Municipality (XII district), in cooperation with Erzsébetváros (VII district), Pestszentlőrinc-Pestszentimre (XVIII district), the Municipality of Budapest and several other professional partners, the main objective of the Life Urban Rainfall project, which will be partly funded by the EU between 2021 and 2025, is to support urban climateadaptation in the field of rainfall management by finding and strengthening synergies between green and blue infrastructures.
The project will soon launch a series of nationwide professional workshops, the first of which will focus on the regulation, significance and installation of green roofs, with the help of experienced experts. Among the speakers were members of the project consortium, Budapest Municipal Construction Design Ltd. colleagues, and Péter Dezsényi, the Deep Forest Kft.and MAKEOSZ.
